Barry Leshowitz, Ph.D., is currently an associate professor of psychology in the Cognition, Action, Perception Program at Arizona State University.  He received his Ph.D. from City University of New York in 1968.  His current research interests include the development of critical thinking skills, scientific reasoning about everyday life events, and instructional effectiveness in science education.
