Boguslawa Lewandowska
is a lecturer in philosophy at the Post-Graduate School at the Institute of
Fundamental Technological Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences (Warsaw),
she also works as information sciences specialist and head of a research
library of science domain at the Polish Academy of Sciences. She received a
diploma in information sciences from the Warsaw University and a diploma from
the Collegium of World Economy, Warsaw School of Economics (member of the
Community of European Management Schools). She completed postgraduate studies
in the domain of theory of literature with elements of arts, philosophy and
history at the Institute of Literary Research of Polish Academy of Sciences and
in theology at the C.S.W. University. She obtained her Ph.D. in theology at the
C.S.W. University in Warsaw (2002).
Dr. Lewandowska has received awards from the Polish
government (1995 and 1996) and she was also the French Government scholar
(2001). She has published articles in Studia
Theologica Varsaviensia, Studia
Ecologiae et Bioethicae and Studia
Philosophiae Christianae. She is a member of Polish Society of Scientific
Information and a member of Organizing Committee of XXXVI Solid Mechanics Conference (Poland, September
2008). Currently she is the chair of the Metanexus LSI in Warsaw.
