Thomas G.M. Möllenbeck has been an assistant at the Theological Faculty of
Paderborn working with Prof. Dr. Dr. D. Hattrup in dogmatics and history of
dogmatics. Since 2004 he has been preparing a post-doctorate study on J.H.
Newman and Augustine. He earned his B.A. in philosophy (Munich, 1989), a
Diploma in Theology (Muenster, 1991), and a Doctorate in Theology (Paderborn,
2004) with a dissertation on the relationship of philosophy and theology in the
work of Karl Rahner, Hans Urs von Balthasar, and John Duns Scotus. He has also worked as a priest in the diocese
of Muenster since 1993, as a vicar in parishes and as the regional-vicar of the
Niederrhein.
