Aurelio Rizzacasa is full professor of philosophy of history at University of Perugia and of the phenomenology of religion at the Theological Institute of Viterbo. He is member of the Italian Centre of The World Institute for Advanced Phenomenological Research and Learning (U.S.A.); the Centre for the Italian Philosophy; the Italian Association of Teilhard de Chardin; and the Italian Philosophical Society. He is author of 15 books and many articles about the relation between philosophy, historical methodology and religion. In particular he has focussed on the philosophy of history and religion, with particular attention to hermeneutical methodology.
