Ian Graeme Barbour died on Christmas Eve 2013 at the age of ninety in Minnesota. He was an emeritus professor at Carleton College in Northfield. Barbour is credited with creating the contemporary field of science and religion. Ian was a frequent guest at Metanexus conferences. We remember him here by featuring a keynote that he gave at a Metanexus conference “Beyond Intelligent Design, Science Debates, and Culture Wars” in 2006.
