William Grassie, founder and intrepid leader of Metanexus (1998-2006), has moved on to new challenges. It is with sincere pleasure that we applaud the unique contributions Billy Grassie has made to this organization and to the evolving field of science and religion. As he prepares to embark upon new journeys—as a Fulbright visiting scholar in Sri Lanka, as an author, and more—we invite you to help celebrate William Grassie.
Help us honor Billy Grassie by making a financial contribution in support of the new Metanexus Senior Fellow Fund. The Metanexus Fellow annually provides a distinctive opportunity for a scholar to share contemporary wisdom about some of humanity’s most profound questions through a series of public lectures and online publications. We initiate this fund now with the intention that, over time, it will grow to provide substantial support for the role of the Metanexus Senior Fellow. This is an important outreach project of Metanexus Institute, enabling us to reach beyond academia, not only into the Philadelphia community, but also around the world.
