Matthew Connally serves as English Pastor at Princeton Christian Church in Princeton, New Jersey. From 2006 to 2007 he served also served as a chaplain at Princeton University. He received his M.Div. from Trinity International University in Deerfield, Illinois. Prior to that he taught research writing techniques to graduate students at Fudan University in Shanghaiラa part of Chinaメs モIvy League.ヤ He received a Bachelors of Journalism from the University of Texas, where he served as editor of The Daily Texan from 1991-92. Columbia Scholastic Press Association awarded him first place in the nation for in-depth news/feature writing.

In addition to pastoring at Princeton Christian Church, Connally also serves as associate editor for LeaderU, a website of Faculty Commons, which is the faculty ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ International. He writes using his given name as well as a pen name, Moses Bean (his great, great, great, great grandfather).

He also writes for a Princeton campus journal, Revisions, using both names.
