Kathryn Johnson

Kathryn A. Johnson, M.A., received both her B.A. in psychology and her M.A. in Religious Studies from Arizona State University. She is a Ph.D. student in Social Psychology at ASU, where her primary research interest is the socio-cognitive processes underlying various world views, particularly the psychology of anthropomorphism and the construction of personhood across both religious and ethnic cultures.ᅠ She applies this research by helping students with divergent worldviews develop meta-cognitive strategies to improve academic achievement in a predominately white, Western, secular university environment.
