Jonathan Edelmann is a PhD canidate at the University of Oxford in the Theology faculty. His area of interest is the relationship of the Bhagavata-Purana, an ancient Hindu text, with contemporary biology. He completed a Master of Studies at Oxford in Science and Religion with Professor John Brooke. His thesis focused on the theories of knowledge found in the Sankhya of Ishvara Krishna and the Bhagavata-Purana, as they relate with contemporary scientific theories of knowledge. He is a memeber of the Oxford Centre for Hindu Studies and gives lectures on Hinduism at the Oxford Centre for Adult Education.
