Qodretullah Qorbani is a member of scientific board of the Institute of Islamic Culture and Thought (Tehran) and a researcher in philosophy, especially Islamic and Western philosophy.  He is a PhD student in philosophy in Allameh Tabatabaei University, (Tehran, Iran).  He has researched and written about theological and philosophical subjects since 1997.  He has written two books.  The first is an introduction on Religious and political thought of Martyr Ayatullah Motahhari, published in 2004.  The second is a comparative study of Descartes theology, published in 2005.  He has almost written 27 articles about some Islamic and western  philosophers and thinkers such as Plato, Aristotle, Descartes, Heidegger, Kant, Ibn Sina, Mulla Sadra, Motahhari and Khomeini, published in some scientific magazines and quarterlies in Tehran and Qom, among them five articles have scientific and research degrees.  He has participated and presented in 12 international and national conferences in Iran about above philosophers and other theoretical subjects, such as religion, science, mysticism and politics.
