The nine core members of this society, consisting of participants from two theological institutions and three universities, have organized multidisciplinary lectures, meetings, roundtables, and academic courses. In conjunction with the anniversary year of Teilhard de Chardin, the society members held symposia on his work and translated his The Activation of Energy, among other activities. The society is organizing events centering around the spiritual and scientific ideas about food, particularly organic and sustainable agriculture. The society makes sure to include the arts in the transdisciplinary approach, and one group member is collaborating with a well-known poet to offer a book on the ecological interpretation of reality based on a systemic approach of both poetry and science. The future plans include a translation of a Polanyi book, Science, Faith, and Society, and the ongoing development of their website. Individual members of this society are also collaborating with societies involved with the SophiaEuropa project.
