This society has pretty much been the driving force for promoting the science and religion dialogue in their region.  Their membership has grown to over 100 participants, half from their host university and half representing other universities and research centers across the country.  The larger society has created smaller workgroups, for instance, a group that explores issues in astronomy and religion.  Group members have published books, created websites, designed courses, and produced a radio program on science and religion.  Their online science and religion course is offered to 300 students at the University and beyond—and it is excellent.  They will be engaged in a publishing venture with a major state university, constituting a new, important public/private collaboration.  The society has made significant efforts to promote the Metanexus LSI program itself, and it is a networking leader in its region.
